The company at the time
AbbVie is a drugmaker whose biggest product, the anti-inflammatory drug Humira, was the world's best-selling medicine and brought in most of its revenue. Humira had started losing patent protection in Europe in late 2018, and lower-priced copies were expected in the United States in 2023, so investors worried about what would replace it. Last week AbbVie agreed to buy Allergan, the maker of Botox, for about $63 billion, which would add a lot of debt, and its share price fell about 16% that day. Its P/E was about 21.
Information available at the time
The same numbers as on company pages, as they had been reported by July 1, 2019. Sector medians aren't shown because StockLab doesn't have them as they stood back then.
Revenue, growth, profit and cash flow are for fiscal year 2018 (ended December 2018), the latest full year in an annual report filed by then; cash and debt come from the latest report (its date is on the card). Results announced after that aren't in these cards yet, even if the story above mentions them, so their numbers can differ.
