The company at the time
Disney owns theme parks, film studios, the sports network ESPN and many TV channels. The pandemic had closed or limited its parks and cinemas, and it lost money in its last fiscal year. But its streaming service, Disney+, launched in November 2019, had already reached about 95 million subscribers, far faster than planned, and in December Disney raised its goal to 230 to 260 million subscribers by 2024. Investors were excited about the streaming future: the share price was at a record high, even though the company had just lost money.
Information available at the time
The same numbers as on company pages, as they had been reported by March 8, 2021. Sector medians aren't shown because StockLab doesn't have them as they stood back then.
Revenue, growth, profit and cash flow are for fiscal year 2020 (ended October 2020), the latest full year in an annual report filed by then; cash and debt come from the latest report (its date is on the card). Results announced after that aren't in these cards yet, even if the story above mentions them, so their numbers can differ.
