The company at the time

Target is a large U.S. retailer selling groceries, household goods, clothing and electronics. Its sales grew fast during the pandemic, and its profit reached a record in its last fiscal year. But in May it reported that profit had fallen sharply in the first quarter, as costs rose and shoppers bought fewer TVs, furniture and other big items than Target had ordered; the share price fell about 25% that day. Last week it warned that it would cut prices and cancel orders to clear the extra inventory, which would hurt profit again. Its P/E was about 12, based on the strong profit of the past year.

Information available at the time

The same numbers as on company pages, as they had been reported by June 13, 2022. Sector medians aren't shown because StockLab doesn't have them as they stood back then.

Revenue, growth, profit and cash flow are for fiscal year 2021 (ended January 2022), the latest full year in an annual report filed by then; cash and debt come from the latest report (its date is on the card). Results announced after that aren't in these cards yet, even if the story above mentions them, so their numbers can differ.
